Mr. Mairura Omwenga is a holder of BSc( civil engineering) and MA (Urban and Regional Planning) and a registered PHD candidate.
Mr Omwenga is the Chairman of Town and Country Planners Association of Kenya(TCPAK), and also Chairman of Town Planners Chapter (Architectural Association of Kenya).
Mr Omwenga also serves as coordinator/Africa region for the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP) and is in charge of ISOCARP Nairobi Liaison office. Presently, he is a member of the Jury for ISOCARP International Awards for Excellence.
He is associate member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (UK) and Town and Country Planners Association (UK). Mr Omwenga is a member of Kenya Physical Planners Registration Board.
Currently, Mr Omwenga is a lecturer at the University of Nairobi, College of Architecture and Engineering/Department of Urban and Regional Planning and also runs a private consulting firm – Kenmt Bill Engineers and Planners. He has been a consultant to a number of local and international organizations- including local governments, national government, UN-Habitat), UNDP, World Bank, JICA and African Development Bank.
Mr. David Gatimu is currently the Chief Officer, Lands, Housing and Spatial Planning-Kiambu County Government.
He is an alumnus of Oxford Brookes University and a practising Urban Planner in the Public Sector.
Is a registered and practising physical planner, and a cooperate member of Town and County Planners Association Kenya (TCPAK) and AAK-Town Planners Chapter, with more than seven years professional experience in physical planning, research and development and in GIS operations.
She holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Master of Science degree in Geo-information Science and Earth Observation in urban Planning and Management from University of Twente (ITC)
Mr. Collins Nthuni is a holder of 1st Class Honours Degree in Planning from the University of Nairobi and is a Registered and Licensed Physical Planner by the Physical Planners Registration Board.
Mr. Nthuni is the Registrar of Town and Country Planners Association of Kenya (TCPAK), and also Registrar of Town Planners Chapter (Architectural Association of Kenya). He is also a member of the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP) and Royal Town Planning Institute (UK).
Currently, Mr Nthuni is offering Physical Planning Services to Kenya Wildlife Service and Consults as a Registered and Licenced Physical Planning Consultant. He has also previously worked with Kenmt Bill Engineers and Planners. He has worked with and is still a consultant to a number of major organizations - including Airtel Networks Kenya Ltd; Safaricom Limited; YES Housing Sacco; FEP Group of Companies and Various Local and County Governments.
Miss Betty Ong’injo is a holder of B.A (Urban and Regional Planning) and currently a Masters student at the University of Nairobi pursuing M.A (Urban and Regional Planning). She is the Assistant Registrar of Town and County Planners Association of Kenya (TCPAK).
She has worked at Kenmt Bill Engineers and Planners and is presently an Assistant Town/physical planner at Real Plan Consultants.
Ms. Rita holds a MSc. Infrastructure Planning from the University of Stuttgart, Germany. She is an expert in Transportation & Infrastructure Planning, Urban planning and Environmental and Social Assessment (ESIA). She is a Registered Physical Planner and EIA/EA Lead Expert with NEMA, Kenya.
She is a member of the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP); a corporate member of the Architectural Association of Kenya (Town Planners Chapter) and a corporate member of the Town and County Planners Association of Kenya (TCPAK).
Mr. Olale is a graduate of the University of Nairobi with a Honors Degree in Urban and Regional Planning and a Master of Arts degree in Environmental Law, Centre for Advanced Studies in Environmental Law and Policy (CASELAP) University of Nairobi. He has a bias research interest in land use planning/law, transportation/infrastructure planning and environmental law. His professional engagements and experience has over the years focused on areas of project management and coordination, preparation of master plans and physical development plans; environmental impact assessment; strategic environmental assessment; land and land use policy, sustainable human settlements planning especially within informal settlements and slums, land tenure and administration; urban housing; local community development; program/project conceptualization, planning, management, monitoring and evaluation; sustainable livelihoods development; community mobilization; participatory integrated planning; teaching, research, documentation and report writing. He previously worked at KENMT BILL Engineers and Planners as an Assistant Physical Planner and then at the Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK) as a Project Assistant. He is currently a Research Associate at the Centre for Urban Research and Innovations University of Nairobi (CURI). He is also the Project Officer and Consulting Urban Planner & Environmental Law Expert with Silverwind Consultants Ltd.
